Keyboard shortcuts

The full list. Almost every one has a button in the interface too, but the keyboard is faster.

Shortcuts stay inactive while the cursor is in a text field — so you can type a screen name containing "v" without pasting a copy.

General

KeysAction
Ctrl + ZUndo
Ctrl + Y or Ctrl + Shift + ZRedo
Space + left buttonPan the canvas
Middle mouse buttonPan the canvas
Mouse wheelZoom to the cursor

Editor

KeysAction
Delete or BackspaceDelete the selected screen or the whole selection
Ctrl + CCopy
Ctrl + XCut
Ctrl + VPaste at the cursor
Ctrl + DDuplicate (Ctrl + Shift + D works too — in Chrome on Windows Ctrl + D is taken by bookmarks)
Arrow keysNudge by 1
Shift + arrowsNudge by 10
Shift + clickAdd or remove a screen from the selection

Hold an arrow key down and the whole run counts as one action: undo returns the screen to where it started, not one step back.

CUSTOM mode

Here the keys act on the cabinets inside a screen, and the clipboard is separate from the one holding screens.

KeysAction
Delete or BackspaceDelete the selected cabinets
Ctrl + C / Ctrl + VCopy and paste cabinets
Ctrl + Z / Ctrl + YUndo and redo inside the mode
Shift + clickSelect several cabinets
EscDeselect the cabinet card

Ctrl + D and the arrow keys are deliberately disabled here: they would act on the whole screen, bypassing the draft you are editing.

Patch mode

KeysAction
Arrow keysAppend the nearest cabinet in that direction to the active port chain
EscCancel a route drag, an armed pattern, or reverse mode

Export mode

Ctrl + Z and Ctrl + Y drive the history of overlays — logos and captions on top of the image — not the project. Delete, duplicate and the arrow keys are disabled in export so you can't alter the composition by accident while exporting.

Add screen form

+, Enter or Space in the height field adds a row of cabinets of a different model (a mixed screen).
