Managing links
All management lives in your account. Links cannot be created there, but everything else can be done.
Where to look
| Where | What you see |
|---|---|
| The "Links" section | Every link you created, across all projects at once |
| The "Projects" section | One project's links, including the automatic one |
What you can do
- Copy the address — to the clipboard;
- Change the settings — access changes immediately, the address stays the same;
- Reissue the token — change the address;
- Delete — remove the link entirely;
- Look at the view counter.
Reissuing the token
This is how you revoke access from people you already sent the link to.
The old address stops working immediately, for everyone. A reissue cannot be undone: the previous token is not recoverable. Anyone who still needs access has to be sent the new address.
To close a project temporarily while you edit, reissuing suits better than deleting: the link settings are kept, only the address changes.
Deleting
A deleted link stops opening. Deleting a project takes all of its links with it at once.
The automatic view-only link cannot be deleted — every project has one by default.
The view counter
It shows how many times the page was opened. It counts openings, not distinct people: the same person opening the link twice adds two.
The limit
Usage is shown in the "Account" section. Automatic links do not count towards your limit.
